It's possible to know the Bible, to memorize verses, songs and stories and still feel distant from the God they all point to.
The invitation has always been deeper than knowledge alone. God isn't asking for us to just "know about" Him. He's calling us into a real relationship. One where we surrender, not out of duty or because it's what we think we should do, but out of love.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
That kind of love is what every heart is really searching for, even if we don't always realize it yet. He is the only One who can fill that place inside of us that quietly asks, "Is this it?"
How many times have we seen it? Someone at the top of their game, successful, admired, and still empty.
We weren't created to do life on our own.
He is there.
Waiting.
Loving.
Never forcing, always inviting.
He honors our choices, which is why they matter so much.
So choose Him.
You won't regret it.
With love,
Vicky
